Blood Drives

One of the first activities we did in Ellie’s memory was hosting a blood drive for the American Red Cross on what would have been her six-month birthday. Over Ellie’s ten weeks of life, she received 80 blood transfusions and we were so very grateful to the people that donated which enabled us more time with her.

As of March 2023, we have hosted nine blood drives collecting a total of 669 units that have been dispersed to local hospitals, including the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
